Girl Burns Hair with Curling Iron; Fame Ensues

Proving that even self-damaging talents can make you famous, a young lady has become an instant YouTube sensation for doing nothing more than burning a chunk of her hair off with a curling iron.

“Hey guys, it’s Tori. I’m basically just teaching you guys how to curl my hair.”

Erm, no.

Tori Locklear planned to make a video about the steps she takes to curl her hair, opening the shot with those fateful words, but, unfortunately, things go wrong when a foul mix of extreme heat and hair gunk (read: something made by Loreal) cause the girl to burn off a decent-sized piece of hair from the side of her head.

Posted the YouTube exactly one week ago, the video has found itself all over the web thanks to the good people at Reddit, garnering more than 12 million views since then.
