Man Slaps Baby on Plane Saying “Shut That Ni**er Up”

Joe Rickey Hundley, 60, of Hayden, Idaho loses his job after being charged for slapping a baby on board a plane.

The president and CEO of AGC, Al Haase, stated on Sunday that behavior by one of its executives recently on unofficial business was “offensive and disturbing” and said he “is no longer employed with the company.”

The 33-year-old mother of the baby, Jessica Bennett, explained to investigators that the flight was on a decent into its destination of Atlanta when her 19-month-old son began crying as the altitude change caused the air pressure in the cabin to increase. Hundley is quoted as saying he “told her to shut that ni**er baby up.” The slap resulted in a scratch just below the boy’s eye and only served to make him scream louder.

Hello? Slap a baby as a means of getting him to be quiet? Let’s hope the justice system slaps Joe Rickey with a maximum sentence.

Babies crying during a flight’s ascent and descent is quite normal and to be expected. The child doesn’t understand the somewhat painful feeling in the ears and quite naturally expresses this through crying. This man is so narcissistic and detached from reality that he would assault a defenseless child AND openly disclose his ignorant racism? This puts Mr. Hundley squarely at the top of this week’s dumbasses.
